The College of Veterinary Medicine at Mississippi State is home to a laboratory system that spans the entire state of Mississippi. Testing services are available for veterinarians, agricultural professionals, and the general public.
Four Labs Serving the Entire StateFour Labs to Serve You
The CVM is home to four laboratories that serve all 82 counties of the state of Mississippi. They are the CVM Diagnostic and Aquatic Lab (Starkville, MS), the Mississippi Veterinary Research and Diagnostic Lab (Pearl, MS), the Poultry Research and Diagnostic Lab (Pearl, MS), and the Aquatic Research and Diagnostic Lab (Stoneville, MS).
Among the services our lab system offers are avian pathology, anatomic pathology, clinical pathology, molecular diagnostics, serology, and virology.
All laboratories are governed by Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine's Department of Pathology and Population Medicine and are fully accredited by the American Association of Veterinary Laboratory Diagnosticians.
